Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is my privilege to present to you the 2023 report for the pediatric surgical subspecialties at Children’s of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). This report highlights our research, publications, awards and leadership, and it shows the difference we continue to make in the lives of children in Alabama and beyond. Our goal is not only to provide the best care possible for our patients, but to contribute to advancements that will help children worldwide. The academic efforts of our residents, fellows, faculty and staff will ultimately lead to improved clinical care. We take great pride in our accomplishments and their impact.
