RESOURCE ADEQUACY

Respondents were asked, “How adequate are the resources in your community to meet the health needs of children?” Respondents ranked adequacy on a 1–10 scale, with 1 meaning completely inadequate and 10 meaning outstanding. Seven hundred and six valid responses were collected. The mean rank was 5.8, suggesting slightly worse than average. Resource adequacy falls between 5.1 and 6.3 for respondents of all age bands, race/ethnic groups, and other categories. See Tables 19 and 20.
