• Education provided to 5,249 students in 2022 and 7 teen driving events held • Education provided to over 7,000 students in 2023 with 900 bike helmets distributed • Education provided to 9,753 students and 968 adults in 2024 • Education provided to 8,968 students in 2025 at 28 events
My School Nurse and school nurse workshops - provided resources to support individuals who are caring for school age students. Resources include forms, lectures, articles and events to help school staff stay current on medical information as it relates to their students • 2023 reached 2,789 school nurses via programming, summer workshops and skills labs • 2024 reached 2,667 school nurses via programming, summer workshops and skills labs • 2025 reached 2,284 school nurses via programming, summer workshops and skills labs Alabama Poison Information Center (APIC) - APIC at Children's of Alabama has been serving the people of Alabama since 1958, offering free and confidential poison information and treatment recommendations to the public and health care providers 24 hours a day. • In 2022 APIC handled 59,927 incoming calls, 38,860 cases and 58,029 follow-up calls • In 2023 APIC handled 47,458 incoming calls, 37,167 cases and 59,606 follow-up calls • In 2024 APIC handled 50,684 incoming calls, 36,200 cases and 58,243 follow-up calls • In 2025 APIC handled 52,313 Incoming calls, 36,365 cases and 61.401 follow-up calls YTD Alabama Lifestart – modeled after National Project Adam to ensure training and installation for automated external defibrillators (AEDs). • 2 schools designated as HeartSafe Schools in 2023 • AED trainer library established in 2023 to provide ongoing skills support • HeartSafe School banners presented to 17 schools In Talladega county CHIPS Center (Children's Hospital Intervention & Prevention Services) - Promotes health and healing for those affected by suspected child abuse and neglect. CHIPS provided forensic medical evaluations, social work, counseling and prevention education services. Curriculum-based community education and outreach occurs in schools and with groups across central Alabama.

COACHES (Community Healthcare Education Simulation) – provides education and training through simulations to community hospitals across the state.
