Directory of Pediatric Services

Children’s of Alabama is pleased to issue this update to our directory of pediatric services. Since the previous edition of our directory, we have continued to take great strides towards meeting the growing healthcare needs of children in our state and throughout the southeast.

Highlights include the expansion of our inpatient behavioral health services, the addition of services offered at our freestanding Patriot Park outpatient center, and the much-anticipated opening of our new 50-bed PICU, to name a few. Even amidst today’s challenges, our commitment to excellence has never wavered. Our mission remains the same: to provide the finest pediatric health services to all children in an environment that fosters excellence in research and medical education. Through our network of primary care practices, outpatient centers, and specialty care clinics, we can ensure a full continuum of care for children, from infancy through adolescence and transition into adulthood. Our relationships with primary care providers throughout the state is a key component to that continuum of care and our shared success. Our people are our greatest strength. Our physicians, nurses, faculty, and staff are the foundation of Children’s high standard of care and safety. Their devotion to their work and compassion for patients and their families is why Newsweek named Children’s of Alabama one of the “World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026” and NRC Health honored Children’s an award for “Excellence in Patient Experience” for the second consecutive year.
